Dear Family and Friends,
With thanks to Hashem, we have joined the many Lomdim from all walks of life whose goal is to complete the entire Shas together in one day, under one roof, in a show of support to all those couples who are struggling to have a child.
Our brother-in-law, R’ Mordechai Tzvi (Mordy) Getz, has been a Lomed since the inception of Shas-a-Thon four years ago, along with his chashuve chavrusa, R’ Chaim Aron Unger, Rabbinical Director of ATIME. R’ Mordechai’s boundless enthusiasm was our inspiration to join this meaningful event.
It is a huge privilege to join, and a huge responsibility as well. The “pressure” is on—Gemara and Rashi have to be prepared, our Dafim have to be learned in time to ensure that the Siyum can take place. But this is a challenge that we chose, that we want, that we are excited to experience on Sunday, 3 Adar.
For all those couples who are yearning for a child, every day is a challenge, a challenge they did not willingly choose, a challenge with no set “siyum” date in sight.
For these next few weeks, we will, therefore, be pushing ourselves to reach the finish line for this amazing organization. On February 18, we will iy’H eagerly sit and learn for over six hours, doing our share to complete all of Shas as a zchus for all ATIME couples.
You, too, can be a part of this extraordinary event by sponsoring our learning. Your donation will go toward the annual cost of supporting couples with day-by day-medical guidance, 24/7 Halachic direction, insurance advocacy, and more—the expenses are staggering.
If you wish, you can donate as a very special zchus for someone you know who needs a yeshua. May our shared efforts remove all obstacles and bring the hoped-for yeshua to all who need it!
