5 years of being involved in this most inspirational event of kindness.
5 years of learning about the incredible difficulties some go through and being able to be a part of the hand that helps and supports them.
5 years of being amazed at the continuous and staggering generosity of our people.
On February 16th I will be participating for the 5th time in the Shas-A-Thon to raise money for ATIME.
Those of you that have been with us before - the countless people you have been able to help thank you greatly. Your generous support in the past has helped ATIME and the people that depend on them in so many ways and your continued dedication to supporting us is greatly appreciated by all involved.
If you are just joining us – please accept my thanks on behalf of the countless people who are soon to be helped through your generosity. Welcome.
A few words just to give an idea (as a reminder for some) of what ATIME does.
ATIME is an organization that primarily helps couples experiencing infertility achieve their dream of having children. They hold their hands through this very private and difficult experience. But that is only a small part of their mission.
What some people may not know of is the other amazing work that they do. For example, ATIME will also help couples who have had miscarriages by arranging it so the parents never have to see a bill to pay for the burial of their precious would be child. To take care of the details so the crushed would be parents won't become completely broken, is such a beautiful act of kindness.
Due to the sensitive nature of the organization we don't often hear of the people who are beneficiaries of ATIME's services unless they are close friends or family members. We should all never need their services but at the same time recognize, and support, the work that they do.
Due to the incredible amount people like yourself give, ATIME has been able to expand their services and do so much more to help those in need.
Just recently ATIME was involved in the passing of a bill in NY State that will be a great help for those dealing with infertility.
Last year my wife Tova Rochel and I dedicated my learning and our fundraising to two most profoundly influential and good people who had passed away in the previous year. My uncle Moshe Wein whose passing was actually in middle of the Shasathon, and Tova Rochel‘s aunt Tanta Sheila Feinstein.
This year we are leaving the dedication open. Open to all.
We all have those we miss, others we pray for, and personal needs. Share any dedications you wish, for the good health of a friend, for finding what one is looking for, or in the memory of someone missed….
Please share your dedications on this page so I can always see them and have them in mind.
May this be a merit for all of us, and may all our prayers be answered.
P.S. If you would rather not have the dedication public please feel free to message me directly.
