These past 10+ months have been confusing and difficult. New words, such as pandemic, social distancing, and the "new normal" have been thrust into our everyday lexicon. Everyone is wondering when we will return to the good old days. But there are some people whose "normal" was, and still is a painful reality. While many were forced to curtail simchas in order to comply with county and state guidelines, others merely wish to be able to receive a mazel tov. With all of the craziness that this year has brought, one thing is certain, the ATIME couples need our support.
A TIME is an unbelievable organization. From the moment a couple detects a challenge in having a baby of their own, A TIME is at their side providing logistical guidance, medical assistance and emotional support through its many programs.
One of these programs is called the Shas-A-Thon. The Shas-A-Thon loimed commits to learn 10 dapim of gemara with 290 other lomdim under one roof in order to complete Shas in just under 6 hours. All of the learning, in addition to the money raised, will be in the merit of those who are waiting for their tefillos to be answered.
Every lomed is learning and davening for one purpose; to storm the gates of Heaven, beseeching Hashem to see our actions and answer the prayers of his children.
I am humbled and privileged to once again be participating in the A TIME Shas-A-Thon, this year on January 30th, 2021. My brother and I have selected to learn מסכת קידושין ב-י and have committed to raise at least $100,000!
We have no idea what the future will bring. Will COVID go away? Will it stay? How will this event work? Everything is in flux. However, there is one thing that is certain, these couples need our support. They need our tefillos, they need our learning and they need our financial support. Join me in helping them!
May Hashem see all of our actions, and bless the A TIME couples with a yeshua, and all of us with health, happiness, and siyata d'shmaya in all areas of our lives.
On behalf of ourselves, A TIME, and all of the couples who are waiting for their yeshua, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
