To our Sweetest Family and Friends,
Baruch Hashem we find ourselves back in ATIME Shasathon season. Over the years this has become a very special time for us for a few reasons. Firstly, it provides us with an opportunity to give back to an organization that has done (and continues to do) so much for us (www.atime.org). Secondly, it represents an opportunity to learn Hashem’s Holy Torah as a beautiful, potent merit for all those couples waiting for a child of their own. And finally, (possibly the most powerful reason for me) it’s a time where we get to see, on full display, the incredible love and care each of you have for us and our journey (not that we don’t see it throughout the year…this is just different).
The response we’ve received in previous years (especially last year) has been truly overwhelming for us. We knew we were very lucky to have such caring family and friends, but the outpouring of care and support we’ve seen is beyond anything we could’ve imagined. THANK YOU to all those who have contributed in the past, either via a donation, a prayer, or just a kind word. It is all priceless in our eyes.
Be"H I will be continuing my journey through meseches Yevamos this year with my slot of daf 61B through 70A. I, along with hundreds of other lomdim, will be preparing our blatt over the coming months and be"H finish all of shas from start to finish, in one day, under one roof as a zechus for the ATIME couples on February 5, 2023.
As mentioned in last year’s message, I joined the ATIME organization full-time back in May 2021. It has been quite an experience thus far. I’ve learned a lot and continue to learn more every day. Baruch Hashem, working alongside ATIME’s Founders, R’ Shaul Rosen (CEO) and his wife Mrs. Brany Rosen (Director of Member Services), we continue to move the organization forward towards a bright future. We’ve been consistently enhancing existing services, adding new services, and hiring more staff, to meet the ever changing and growing needs of the broader Jewish community. I feel honored to be a part of this organization, and privileged to be one of the lomdim helping support the cause.
Now we turn to you, our dear family and friends, to open your hearts to ATIME, and contribute whatever you can to the life changing and life creating work this one-of-a-kind organization is involved in, 365 days a year. I have an AMBITIOUS goal this year of raising $100k (!!). Please help me reach my goal!
For those who already gave, thank you so much. For those who haven't, I hope you are able to join us in this amazing event, either through a donation, a prayer, or just watching the event live in February (livestream via this site).
Please feel free to share my page (http://shasathon.org/
Also - if anyone is interested in larger/corporate-type sponsorship opportunities and/or corporate matching, please let me know and I'd be happy to discuss further.
Hashem should repay each and every one of you a thousand-fold, and with G-d's help, this will be the last ATIME Shasathon I participate in, and I'll be looking for a new job soon, with the organization being able to close its doors from lack of demand with all the yeshuos that are to come (yes that's the same line I used in last year's message; still true today!).
Thank you in advance and kol tuv, always.
Love,
Chaim and Kim
